Hope For Recovery

A FREE class for families of adults who live with a mental illness; individuals with a mental illness are also welcome.
Spend a Saturday with a trained instructor who will offer information, hope, and practical strategies for dealing with the complexities of mental illnesses. Participants will gain knowledge about various illnesses, coping and communication strategies, navigating the mental health system, local resources, and recovery.  For more information, email

In Our Own Voice (IOOV)

DBT Education Program for Family & Friends

Learn about Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills that are being taught at Amberwing in this 12-week program (three modules of 4 weeks each) for family and friends. You can attend one or all modules. Cost is $60 for 12 sessions (3 modules) or $25 per module, scholarships available.

Speak Your Mind, WDSE TV (Channel 8.1) – current season has ended

Mental health issues affect everyone. Shouldn’t you know more?  Join psychologist and host Dr. Carolyn Phelps as Speak Your Mind starts the conversation on mental health issues. Dual Recovery Anonymous™

Dual Recovery Anonymous™ (DRA) is a fellowship of men and women who meet to support each other in our common recovery from two no-fault illnesses: an emotional or psychiatric illness and chemical dependency. DRA is a 12-step, self-help program based on the principles of the Twelve Steps and the experiences of men and women in recovery with a dual diagnosis.
